Last day, we had a few hours free time to peruse the city and shop. My best friend and I decided to hit Bloomies on 60th & 3rd, then walk to Macy's on 34th or 33rd (?) and 6th. Umm, we were to dumb to realize how many city blocks that was! Lots of walking, but it was well worth it to see all the sites.

The local Starbuck's, here, is a bit stoic, but the Joe Mugg's is really cool. It's in a book store and all the folks who work in the coffee shop have green or blue hair and spiked jewelry and multiple piercings. Lots of leather and chains. I love it, although it's a terrible influence on my 14 year old - she wants to know why she can't have her nose and lip and eyebrow pierced and dye her hair punk-pink. Umm, because you're 14 and I'm your mother and you'd get kicked out of school, dammit! Hah.

If I ever get to visit your lovely city again, I'll definately look you up and we can go for...well, coffee! Or maybe I'll just buy you a beer or three and you can take me to see a great band.Hazedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00993258575129632255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9951612.post-1134045211725467702005-12-08T07:33:00.000-05:002005-12-08T07:33:00.000-05:00Love the Avatar! If they offer it to me I'll take it and stick with starbucks part time just for the health benifits. It's been over two years since I've been able to afford to go to the doctor or dentist.Amichaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10662677886550979790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9951612.post-1134010680505277592005-12-07T21:58:00.000-05:002005-12-07T21:58:00.000-05:00hhm sounds like s good one. did u hear from tribec...hhm sounds like s good one. did u hear from tribeca film place yet?piu piuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07584532831990669627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9951612.post-1133986896043676642005-12-07T15:21:00.000-05:002005-12-07T15:21:00.000-05:00NYC ok by me, but I'll always be a red sox fan. There is something about the rooting for the Yankees that is just antithetical to my nature.

Everything is always more cute when written, but thank you, I'm blushing.Amichaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10662677886550979790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9951612.post-1133931122367360922005-12-06T23:52:00.000-05:002005-12-06T23:52:00.000-05:00Seriously, I love shit like this. Ah to be young and living in NYC, it's like something out of a movie. Can I just say I'm green with envy at all the things you have access to and experiences yet to be. Though not the whole Starbucks orientation or whatever, damn it's just coffee.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06693590401750798739noreply@blogger.com
