First off, I don't know if anyone noticed, but I changed my Avatar. No more "WHY BOTHER" now you're all just stuck with an actual photo of me. That's right boys and girls, the new icon is my true visage. Notice the shirt I am modeling. It was a birthday gift from J_. She had it made special for me from Neighborhoodies. If you can't figure out the pictogram (and it took me a moment) the images are of Harpo Marx - check the bushy red hair and floppy hat - with a horn asking a question. For those of you unfamiliar with Harpo Marx well, I feel a bit sorry for you. If you would like to educate yourself on the hilarity that is the marx brothers I suggest you go here. Though the best way to learn is just to rent their movies. I would recommend Duck Soup, Animal Crackers, and Day at the Races. But they are all great.
And for the record, in the new avatar, the photo is not blurry. That is actually how my face looks. I have a very rare skin condition, which I'd really rather not discuss. If you don't believe me you can ask Piu Piu, she's seen me for real and can verify I look that blurry in person as I do in the photo.
And finally, we can scratch one off the list. I did recieve the new Dresden Dolls album yesterday. It has a bit more rock influence than their previous album which felt a bit more jazzy and punk. I prefer the previous album, but the new one is still very fun to listen too.
That is all for now.

The only thing that I know about the Marx brothers, is that their names were the influes for the names of the characters in Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 corpses. Which are NOT funny movies, well, they have their moments, but I mean in the grand scheme of things.
Everytime I think of one of those guys, I think of Charlie Chaplin, who I know isnt the same person, but whenever someone mentions them, thats who I think of, and I wonder whats so funny about him.
Forget the date thing for now. You should go out to your local vidoe rental store and rent Duck Soup, Animal Crackers and Room Service. Then watch them. Then Laugh and Laugh and Laugh.
As wacky comedy goes, the Marx Brothers were the comedic forefathers for people like Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, The Zucker Brothers (Airplane, Hotshots) The Fareley Brothers (Dumb and Dumber, Something about Mary), and many many more.
I mentioned your new profile pic on my site. I like it. It looks like you've seen "The Ring". Have you? Did J get you anything else for your birthday?
I noticed that you changed your profile pick! I just wanted Nonny to say something first because I follow everything she does ;)
Kidding, looks good, take the smear off!
Nonny - I have seen the ring, and found it lame, until the ending, but only because I had a horrid nightmere as a child - one which still haunts me - about the big bad wolf from the disney three little pigs cartoon climbing out of the tv set to eat me. (And it was J_ who got me the Dresden Dolls album)
Rawbean - There is no smear. That's actually how I look in person.
Do you know, my fiance has every nintendo game ever made on his modified xbox. I was flipping through the games wondering what I could play, and came across Zool, and thought to myself "Ahh! THAT is what Amichai means!"
What an extraodinally shitty game.
Er, actually it's supposed to be a Ghostbusters refrence.
Sigorny Weaver says after being possesed by the gatekeeper, "There is no Dana, only Zool." Dana being her characters name.
I don't know from an Xbox. I'm an old school Nintendo sort of guy (though i do own a playstation 2)
yes its true your features are all over the place. hilarious watching u try sip latte
and sorry i missed ur birthday dude. havent been blogging for number of reasons...
Amichai....is it a problem if I dont find ANY of those people funny. I HATE HATE HATE the fareley brothers. like i want to pull my eyes out instead of watching their movies.
I dont enjoy slapstick comedy....so if the marx brothers are indeed slapstick, i probably wont like it
IF you can guarantee that i'll laugh, i'll rent ONE. Whats the best one?? However, if I dont laugh...i'm coming to find you...to get back the 2 hours that I lost. LOL!!! Mwahahaha
Piu - No worries. And I just realized I totally forgot to e-mail the info I promised. I'm so sorry. I'm going to do it right now.
PP - I'm not a big fan of the Farely brothers either. But Mel Brooks? You haven't liked any of his movies? Airplane didn't make you laugh?
I'm not sure if you will or won't like the marx brothers. I wouldn't call the Marx Brothers Slapstick. They are more like Screwball comedy than anything else. Though they are nothing even close to cereberal. I would say either Animal Crackers or Duck Soup, whichever the video rental place happans to have. And if it has both just flip a coin.
And if you can find me and catch me I'll do my very best to give you your one and a half hours back. Though I can't garuntee the return of any time it might take for you to track me down then catch me.
This just in: My Entertainment Weekly is reporting that "Nobody's Watching" just got picked up by NBC.
Ok...with the assistance of modern technology, I youtubed those movies....and they had a few clips.
The mirror scene in Duck soup is hilarious....and the piano scene in animal crackers is good when he cant figure out the ending to the song, so just keeps playing it over, but you can see him like counting keys....
Okay...so for now. You're safe. :)
Nonny - Hooray for NBC (where ironically it was supposed to be in the first place - then it passed and WB picked it up, only to pass on it once it had it).
PP - this is my sighing a huge sigh of relief.
I have been looking for sites like this for a long time. Thank you! Adores.org harddrive tester porsche new Auto owner insurance
